I AM FEELING SUPER EXHAUSTED NOW. volleyball training was tough but fun! at the end of the training, i felt like i was about to collapse but now thinking back on it, i actually enjoy it. i get this feeling of accomplishment that i was able to do all those physical stuff. everyone in volleyball is so friendly and nice! oh yes, and they are MAD ABOUT VOLLEYBALL. haha!
speedo was training at the courts too and i felt extremely self conscious. that is extremely dumb. if i dont really like him anymore, why do i even care if he sees me making a fool out of myself? anyway i wish that he would stop appearing in front of me, the sooner i forget about him, the better. i am a 100% positive that i like poko now. he is so much better than speedo in so many ways man. AND i am actually myself when i'm around him. he's the cutest and sweetest guy ever!
ok back to volleyball. warm ups was 3 rounds the track. i havnt runned since before the march hols and my stamina really dropped like shit. by the end of the first round, i felt tired. can you believe it, FIRST ROUND ONLY. i was quite surprised that i made it through the 3 rounds, of course i was one of the last few to return. haha! i realised that i have this bad habit of not knowing what to do with my arms when i run. when i clench my fist and swing my arms, it doesnt feel natural. so i always pretend to like pull down my shorts or tie my hair when i run just cause i dont know what to do with my arms. haha so stupid la. ok so after the warm ups, we had to do a combination of sprints. there's one whereby it looks like a dance! it involves you crossing your legs and twisting your hips! some girls look damn cool doing it. but since i am cursed with having bad combinations, i look like a freaking clown. one senior standing at the side said "she looks damn cute! hahahahaha" OH BOY. what's wrong with me, honestly. why cant i look normal or cool when i do the sprints?? in the end right, one senior had to personally teach me how to do the dancing sprint. haha she's such a nice and patient teacher! ok then there's one sprint whereby you gotta kick your legs up in the air and clap below your legs. once again, i look completely odd doing that. haha but i will practice! i will not give up! one day, i'll look cool when i'm doing the dancing sprint! haha
then we learnt how to do digs and settings. i think i locked my elbows too much, now my shoulders hurt. as for settings, i still havnt mastered it yet. I NEED TO GET A VOLLEYBALL TO PRACTISE! shijing was like saying that i should catch the ball near my forehead. so being the idiot that i am, i think i like stuck my face out at the ball and the ball ended up hitting my face. THANK GOD THE VOLLEYBALL ISNT HARD ENOUGH TO BREAK MY NOSE OR SOMETHING. after this, we did more sprints. i realised that i have little difficulty sprinting forward as for backwards sprints, I CANT DO IT AT ALL. my entire legs hurt like bitch when i run backwards. i dont get it! why is this possible? janan and brendan make the backwards sprints look like chicken feet. i think they were even laughing during it whereas i was like panting like mad. again, I NEED MORE PRACTISE! haha the bonding games was quite fun, we had to do some dances, like the cha cha, tango and pole dancing. HAHAHAHHA
after that, we had pt, the ultimate nightmare. i died during that one. girls had to do 5 sets of sprints up the stairs and 2 sets of jumps. i did until the sprints but when it came to the jumps, i felt dizzy so i told ms smith and she allowed me to rest. i think i have the worst stamina in the whole team. this is so embarrassing, i really need to build up my stamina! then we had to do 3 sets of crunches, push-ups and some exercise involving the steps. I LOVE CRUNCHES. REALLY REALLY LOVE IT. it's only during crunches that i count aloud with the rest of the team. as for the others, i am busy throwing out vulgarities in my head. haha. why cant i do a single man push up?? my arms cant even move! omg. only my ass moves and i sure as hell know that is wrong! and i have no idea how to improve on my man push-ups. haha!
i have mass pe tmr. i have a feeling i wont be able to do it cause everyone keeps telling me that i'll get severe muscle aches tmr. OH MAN. i hope mrs tan would understand. i'm looking forward to the next volleyball training, hopefully i would be able to do everything, mainly the grand stand torture, during that. haha
