I'M FINALLY 17! WHOOOHOOO! i've had a great birthday today, thanks to my friends. first off, i want to thank all my darling friends who have wished me happy birthday, thanks for remembering guys! haha! oh yes, and i love my pressies! fel and anna gave me a speedo water bottle and top! OMGGG I REALLY LOVE THEM! i'm going to use the water bottle everyday for school AND i'll wear the sexy speedo top when i play volleyball. HAHAHA. bev and yuling gave me cool vintage necklace and earrings. thanks babes! and mich gave me a sweet esprit shirt. LOVE IT!
met my friends at 12.30 today at cityhall station. i felt really self conscious cause it was my first time ever wearing a tube dress out. there was this cheekopek on the train starring at me, GROSS. i should have brought a jacket along or something. and i was sooo worried that my tube dress would fall so i kept pulling it up, haha i think people thought i was weird since i kept pulling up my dress. anyway we went to New York New York for lunch. it was AWESOME. i love the deco and all, we managed to even get a booth to ourselves! haha! we ordered the great yankee burger, cheese fries, salmon salad and tuna sandwich and shared everything. the food was delicious! it felt so nice just chatting and joking with my friends. my friends surprised me when they ordered a slice of chocolate cake and tiramisu with a candle on top for me. then they sang the birthday song. it was sooo sweet! THANKS BABES, I LOVE YOU GUYS! omg even the waiter bought me hot chocolate with marshmallows in it. i was quite shocked. haha! oh and i had no idea that it was a tradition to use your mouth to pick out the candles after you blow it. i felt so weird doing that and i ate abit of ash even. yuk! then my friends made me lick the chocolate words on the plate, i looked so dumb doing that man. haha! so after eating, we all felt really bloated so we just sat back and relaxed on the comfy sofa. then the song "lose my breath" came on, and i told fel that it was her song. i could just imagine her singing that song to her ec. LOL. then she was like, "ok the next song will be your song!" then anna was like "the next song shall be candy shop!" and i went "ewww, 50 cent has a black candy." and bev went "yeah coca cola flavor!" HAHAHAHAHHA.
we went bowling after lunch. on our way there, there was this man who stopped us, saying that he was interested in us going for an interview to be advertisers. so i decided to screw him up abit. when he asked for my name, i said it was MARY TAN and i gave him a fake number. LOL. anyway bowling was super fun! we played two games. i didnt bowl well for the first game. but during the second game, we decided to change all our names to our crushes' names. so mine was SPEEDO'S NAME. AND GUESS WHAT, I IMPROVED! I EVEN MANAGED TO GET A SPARE MAN! LOL. you know the first time my friends all shouted speedo's name just when i was about to release the ball, i felt my heart squeeze and i just froze. lol i really need to get a grip! thank god speedo wasnt there today, i think he would just freak out if he saw his name on the screen. fel is really pro at bowling! she looks so stylo milo when she bowls, haha. oh and anna is damn cute! she dropped the bowl twice! lol it was damn funny. oh yes, it was quite embarrassing when i tried to swing my ball really high up but ended up hitting my leg and the ball went straight into the gutter. haha i'm a klutz! so anyway after bowling, we went to shop for earrings and acessories. then mich and bev had to leave. after that i had dinner with anna and mich, walked around abit and left for home. i was so glad that brenda called me to wish me. i really miss talking to her. haha come back soon to visit brenda!!
it's been a fun filled day today and i really enjoyed my birthday. thanks guys for spending my birthday with me, I LOVE YOU!!
